1. Data Collection and Purpose
OmraConnect only collects the information essential to the smooth running of your spiritual stay: your phone number (to validate your bookings and send SMS codes), your first/last name, and your hotel address for order delivery.
2. Messaging Privacy
To protect the privacy of every pilgrim and guide, personal phone numbers are never shown in the internal chat. All communications take place through the secure OmraConnect interface.
3. Location & Emergency Reports
Access to your GPS position is only requested with your explicit consent: when you pin the place where someone was last seen or spotted, and, if you turn on "Alerts near me", to notify you of urgent missing-person alerts within 5 km. In that case your last position is stored on our servers only while the app is open, is used for nothing else, and is deleted as soon as you turn the option off. A position attached to an alert or a sighting is kept with that report as part of its record.
4. Payment Security
All card transactions for booking deposits are processed in encrypted form by Stripe Payments Europe, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. OmraConnect never stores your full banking details at any time.
